My friend Rebecca is in a Twitter contest, and she needs our votes. This is a rare opportunity to vote for a truly wonderful writer (and a great person to boot). So if you have a moment, stop by and vote for her. She has overcome a great deal in her lifetime thus far, and she is definitely deserving of a few triumphs like this.
I still haven't joined the ranks of Twitterers, but watching Rebecca go through the fun, I'm slowly being convinced that from a marketing perspective, this just might be a necessity. I don't know how much fun it is to try to write using so few characters, since I'm sure everyone is aware of my lack of ability to be concise. Yes, I'm working on it, but anyway. Rebecca is using this medium for all its worth, so I for one hope she receives alot of attention through it. Do me a favor and vote for her. A fellow writer reaching these heights is awesome, and I hope she makes it all the way. Good luck Rebecca. You know I have my fingers crossed for you.

What a nice thing to do. I went out and voted.
Thanks for the post.
I voted!!
I totally missed this. Thanks so much Eric. I've been so rushed off my feet with all this, I've lost track of blogs and just had to catch up where I could. Can't believe I'm winning this now. It's mad. I made a memorable URL to help people vote if they want to, it's:
http://rebeccawoodhead.com/vote
Once all this madness is over, I'll give you all the juicy details about who you need to speak to publishing-wise. Am learning loads and will put it in a use-able form for my writing chums once I get a chance.
Thanks again,
Rebecca x
